Anastasia Beverly Hills - Modern Renaissance Palette, Dipbrow Pomade, Dou Brush #12, Sharpener
Updated: Nov 25, 2018
It's Sunday again and I will share my thoughts about few products from Anastasia Beverly Hills. My first product from ABH was the Modern Renaissance eyeshadow palette and I need to tell you that I wasn't their big fan, before.
As I mentioned in other posts, we like to travel with my boyfriend. I have a habit to buy something I wouldn't buy at home. This trip wasn't different from the others. We went to Sephora at Times Square, New York, USA and I bought the Modern Renaissance. I was looking forward to try and test it as soon as possible. When we got home I bought more products from the brand. Let's talk about them.
Modern Renaissance Palette
Price: 43£ - 48.25€ - 42$
The Modern Renaissance Palette comes with 14 shades, including neutral and berry tones.
The palette has two finishes:
11 matte shades (Tempera, Golden Ochre, Buon Fresco, Love Better, Cyprus Umber, Realgar, Warm Taupe, Venetian Red, Red Ochre, Burnt Orange, Raw Sienna)
3 metallic shades (Vermeer, Antique Bronze, Primavera)
Modern Renaissance got an absolutely stunning packaging. It comes in soft pink cardboard case. You can see the product and brand name on the top.
The palette has a light pink velvet case with the brand and the product name, as usual.
It has a magnetic closure which is nice to have to avoid it to open unintentionally. It includes a mirror which unfolds when you open the palette. The brush that comes with it is a good quality brush and you can use it every day. It is made of synthetic hair. The bristles are soft and you can work with them pretty well. The brush is perfect for applying and blending the shades.
The shades are highly pigmented, easy to work with and they blend beautifully. You can create stylish daytime and night looks.
I have purchased this palette in Sephora personally, but you can easily order it on the internet. Plenty of websites are offering it.
This product is suitable to both beginners and experienced professionals. I would highly recommend it for everyone because of it's quality and usability.
Price: 19£ - 21.25€ - 18$
This brow product is available in 11 shades (Blonde, Taupe, Soft Brown, Medium Brown, Caramel, Auburn, Chocolate, Dark Brown, Ebony, Ash Brown, Granite).
I use medium brown and it is the best product I have ever used on my eyebrows.
The Dipbrow Pomade is waterproof, long-lasting and easy to use. I've tested it dozens of times in different conditions. The product is very rich in pigments, it is ideal for creating defined and natural eyebrows.
I have purchased the Dipbrow Pomade from Cult Beauty.
They offer free shipping on all orders over 40£ (except for China and Hong Kong). It is necessary to point out that the official website of ABH offers free shipping on their US and UK websites, too.
In my opinion this brow product is the must-have beauty product for everyone.
Duo Brush #12
Price: 15£ - 20.25€ - 18$
The brush is double ended - one end holds a spoolie and the other end holds a bristle brush, which is thin and sharp angled. It gives you the ability to be precise. It picks up just the right amount of the pomade.
I use this synthetic brush for applying the Dipbrow Pomade. These two products are the perfect combination, if you want a natural look.
I have purchased from Cult Beauty.
Price: 6£ - 5.75€ - 6$
This Sharpener is 3-in-1 pencil sharpener, because it can be used for 3 different pencil sizes. It works well and looks nice. Better than having three sharpeners, don’t you think?
I have purchased it from Cult Beauty.
All of these products are cruelty-free.
