Hello! The title says Natural Makeup, but is it really a natural one? Maybe on the Instagram yes, but not really in real life. In my opinion natural makeup consists of water based foundation, mascara and lip gloss only. I came up with the idea to present you this easy looking make up style which internet is usually full with.
I decided to write my make up look articles in a different fashion. Based on the feedback and also my impressions I'll divide my text into different sections. Although they'll cover always only one part per section they will be chronologically listed from start to finish. I hope you'll like this new way, but if not, do not hesitate to write me! :)
The first step is always the same: "Clean the whole face before applying the makeup."
As a second step I applied my old favourite foundation. It's the Born This Way foundation from Too Faced. It has a medium coverage, but it can be built up. The 104/BUFFER brush is perfect for this job, because it has soft bristles and can be used all-over the face.
I didn't want a matte finish this time, so I skipped the powder.
The next one was to contour and blush with creamy products only. I used the Contour Cream Kit from Anastasia Beverly Hills for the contouring part. I've this palette for light skin tone and I used the Light Sculpt shade. I marked the places where I wanted to work on my face, and I applied it with the 117/PETIT DEFINED BUFFER. I always like to apply the creamy contour and blush shades with this brush, because it's perfectly shaped and suitable for the precise application.
The contouring is followed by the blush. I never thought that I'll use the Lip Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills on my face for this purpose, but I like to use it when I need a creamy one. The Vibrant Pink shade was my choice. I just marked the areas again and applied it with the same brush.
The last creamy product I used on my face was the highlighter. The Capri shade is the only one from The Pink Sands Edition which has a creamy finish, so I opted for this one, of course. I applied this shade with my fingers, as I always do.
I used my usual technique you already may have read about. The first step is to comb out the eyebrows. To have them stay, I used the Hydro Mastix Washable Spirit Gum from Kryolan. The second and the last step for this section is drawing the missing eyebrow threads with the Dipbrow Pomade's Medium Brown shade from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I preferred this kind of eyebrows, because it gives a natural effect. My favourite brush for this step is #12 from Anastasia Beverly Hills. It's a double-ended brush, so I don't have to use separate brushes at least for this part of the whole makeup.
This is the penultimate section of todays make up. At first, I needed a palette with natural shades, so I decided to use the Naked palette from Urban Decay. It has nice warm shades, so I thought it's the best choice among my palettes. I applied the Buck shade on my upper and lower eyelids. The 230/LUXE PETIT CREASE brush is perfect for precise application of eyeshadow, because the pointed tip reaches the smallest areas and it's ideal for the crease. After the precise application I had to blend the shades with the 227/LUXE SOFT DEFINER. The edges can be softened with the help of this brush.
I followed my plan and used a shiny colour on the middle of my eyelids. I applied the same shade which I used on my face as a highlighter, but I needed to use a small brush so the 237/DETAIL SHADER seemed suitable.
The thin eyeliner was still missing, so I drew it with the Creep, which is a shimmery black shade from this Naked palette. It was applied with the 317/WING LINER.
To have the work on the eye finished I picked the Natural Lashes Demi Wispies Black false lashes from Ardell and glued them up with the Lash Glue Dark Tone from Huda Beauty.
The last, but very important step is the lipstick which can always take the makeup to another level. In this case I decided to use two products on my lips. The first product was a lipstick from the Lip Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hill and I chose the Peachy Pink shade. The second product I applied was the lip gloss from Zoeva, shade Join The Dance. I used the 331/PRECISION LIP for both products. The lipstick was important to see the edges of the lips and emphasise them well and the lip gloss was an another important one to get a natural and healthy look.
Time Spent: 1 hour and 30 minutes
