The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil, Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion

Welcome back! I haven't written to this section for a long time. Mostly, because all the products I needed for skincare were already in my set before I started this blog. But it's time time to try someting new. Today I'll write about two products from The Ordinary. I chose two products and ordered them straight away from CultBeauty. I was hoping for the best, so let's see.

100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil

Price: 9£ - 10.95€ - 9.80$

Weight: 30ml

My skin is dry and that's exactly why I chose this oil. The intestity of dryness peaks in autumn/winter and the skin starts to peel. It reacts to every temperature drop.

I was looking for an oil, which my skin can absorb easily and doesn't remain oily. I'll be honest, I had to be very careful to not to use more than two drops. The moment I used more it was hard for the skin to absorb. It took time to learn how to use it, but the result was soft and healthy skin in the end.

Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion

Price: 8£ - 9.75€ - 9.80$

Weight: 30ml

I believe this product is a favourite for many of us, girls. I had to wait for very long time before It was possible to order it. The website helped me with that by sending me an email if the product comes available. In theory it works, but practically it was impossible to order the product. Why? It was't their fault. I was always busy at the time when the e-mail landed in my box and when I finally had enough time to order it quickly the product became unavaliable. It was hours and minutes, not even a whole day! My luck did it's job. When I finally managed to order it, the testing began. The brands description of the serum is that it's a perfect antidote to common signs of ageing and it helps to keep the skin healthy and youngish. I started using it only as prevention with respect to my skin type, so I cannot confirm or refute these claims. I use it two or three times a week, but only two drops. It doesn't irritate my skin and it's absorbed easily and quickly.

I absolutely understand why this brand is so popular. Their products aren't expensive and it seems they've really great products. If you want to try out the products, always pay attention to the type of skin it is recommended.
